All the fun on the farm for our third Open Farm Sunday

We hosted our third annual Open Farm Sunday on 9th June 2019, with visitors coming to the farm to find out more about how our award-winning ice cream is made.

Our farm trail was open as usual, with an added competition to find all the Solley’s cows on the way around and we had two tractors running through the whole day giving tractor rides out across the farm.  There was also the chance to join factory tours throughout the day, giving an insight into how we make our ice cream.

We invited some of the best local producers to join us for our Kentish food market, a very popular area throughout the day whilst the bird of prey display brought in the crowds (and yes, his falcon did return, for those who were wondering!)

It’s always lovely to see the Parlour so busy and we must have served a record breaking number of cones, sundaes & Solley’s super bowls!

Thank you to all who came out and supported us on Open Farm Sunday – don’t forget we are open daily until the end of September (just closed Mondays in September) so there is plenty of time to come back and visit us over the summer!
